Spring Chicks ATC

I created this atc using red rubber stamps my good friend, Michelle, had made from her hand drawn and then hand carved images.... take a stroll over at her blog HERE and if you have time leave her a comment.

The background is Adirondack inks on white cardstock.  I did Tim's wrinkle free distress Adirondack technique with the colors citrus, clover, and pool.  The tree branches are stamped using Adirondack meadow.  The flowers are stamped using Adirondack stream, colored in with Glaze pens and some Distress Stickles in the center.  Spring is stamped with Archival Ink jet black. The broken eggs behind the chicks are stamped with Archival Ink coffee.  The butterfly is a rub-on.  Dots around edge are with a Glaze pen.  The chicks were stamped on a scrap of white cardstock with Adirondack pigment ink butterscotch, dried the ink well and cut out the chicks just on the outer edge of all the fluff lines and around the feet... placed the image on the atc and cut off the extra sticking off both sides.  I added yellow and orange on the beaks with colored pencil and used a black Glaze pen for the eyes.  I then went around the chicks making little cuts as if creating fringe which really helped to give the chicks a fluffy look.
